We can over-seed your lawn, focusing on areas which have become thin due to insect activity, disease, shade, or reasons. For good germination seed must be kept moist for the next two to three weeks(until new sprouts grow to 2”). If peat moss or other topdressing was used it is recommended to water your lawn once every day(preferably in the morning). Water for 5 to 20 minutes(depending on sprinkler type) until water begins to puddle on surface. Reducing traffic on new seed will also greatly improve the success of new growth. Keep pets and children off new seed if possible. Lawn should have been mowed short prior to seeding. This will help new seed germination and allow lawn to go an extra week with mowing traffic on lawn. If you have any questions about this or any of our services please don’t hesitate to call.
